Microsoft released the preview version of Windows 8.1 on 26 June and now they are preparing the RTM version which is planned to release this month to OEM's .Windows 8.1 RTM is currently under testing within Microsoft.
Windows 8.1 packs several new features and improvements over Windows 8.It brings the most awaited start button (not the start menu) and a lot of customization features have been added such as use the desktop background as your start screen background,more colors to choose for the start screen and a lot more.Boot to desktop is also added to make users feel comfortable who have got used to boot into desktop directly.Tile sizes are also added.IE 11 comes in-built with it.The final version for general people is expected to hit the market in October or even shortly after the release of RTM .
